The quality of the food has deteriorated continuously over the past few years. There is always enough rice, but hardly any meat in the dishes. The sauces are all pre-made. The place is sterile, the staff super friendly. The lessee tends not and does not appear serious in any way. I haven't been eating Indian in Garching since I knew an Indian restaurant in Ismaning.

Best Indian I know in the Munich area. Not cheap, but definitely worth the money!

Great food, nice sized portions.

The waiters are extremely impatient and unfriendly. Furthermore, the prices for non-alcoholic drinks are outrageous (0.5 l of water for 3.50 EUR, draft beer costs the same). When asked, the waiter said there was no tap water. And neither does water in portions smaller than 0.5 l. While we were eating we were watched by 2 waiters, who regularly let us know that they would like to call it a day. Of the dishes served, 2 were swapped. Although I asked several times when ordering whether my dish contained dairy products and the waiter hastily affirmed this, it was unfortunately not the case. My digestion informed me of this a little later. I can only advise all people with intolerance and especially those with allergies not to eat here.

Delicious Taste and as an Indian, I can confirm, that they have authentic North- Indian Taste. Do try different types of Nan and Kulchas (Indian Bread)

I've been coming back with pleasure for years. The food is always good, the service is dedicated and the menu is always full of typing errors. An Indian I can absolutely recommend.

1. The restaurant is centrally located in Garching. You can sit outside as well as inside. Offers a lot of space and is decorated in a distinctive Indian style. Very nice. 2. The staff was very courteous and appeared at the table without being asked to do their work conscientiously. 3. The food is delicious. Was very surprised about my starter (chicken plus chickpeas). A little hot but recommendable. Beer wasn't awesome. Portions are ample and the prices are reasonable for them.

Good Indian restaurant right on the subway. There are also some tables outside. Wide range of Indian dishes, both with meat, fish and vegetarian. Unfortunately not sharp at all, even if it was announced that way. The service is normally friendly. Overall good, but a little unspectacular.

Worst experience I ever had. When we ordered 3 beers and told them we will order the main course after sometime, the waiters said that it's not allowed. So we ordered a small Vorspeise. Then the waiters were so rude and made arrogant comment that why are we not ordering the food but only Vorspeise..... I would never ever recommend anyone to this resturant.

Large selection of Indian dishes that are good and tasty. Rice is brought in if more is needed. Unfortunately, the service wasn't that friendly that day. But overall we were satisfied!

Good, varied menu, nice service and really okay. I will definitely come again. Once you have been properly cooked in India (by an Indian friend) this food does not come close to that, but I can still recommend it with a clear conscience.

The Lamb Vindaloo was super spicy, and extremely tasty!

Last night we went to this restaurant, ordered keem kulcha(mutton), lassi, vegetable thali, mutton biryani and chilli chicken (spicy) and kulfi. They gave us papad with three Chutneys as a complimentary. After 10-15 minutes we got our food. Mutton keema kulcha was blunt ( no salt and no spice ) Lassi was okay. It looked delicious 😋, vegetable thali was tasty there was no salt and spice in mutton biryani ( even after telling them it should be spicy but it was blunt) they added raisins in biryani 😕 Coming to chilli chicken ( they wrote spicy on the menu card) they served us sweet chilli chicken with naan 😒. When explained them we wanted a spicy dish not sweet one, one of the waiter said the dish is sweet and spicy. We told them there is no spice in the food, he said he will make it spicy. Mean while another waiter ( who took order from us came) he started arguing with us saying we should have told him before, we told him on the menu card it's written spicy but the dish is sweet. We argued for sometime, he ended up saying chilli chicken dish is with sweet chilli souce and I ended up saying it was mentioned spicy on the card and there is no where in the description of the food it is mentioned as sweet chilli souce. Meanwhile the other waiter bought the food after repairing it and unfortunately, we didn't like the dish as it was still tasting sweet with added chilli. I told him it don't want to have a sweet dish, after all this the waiter was ready to change the food and he bought a spicy dish after sometime. He said it's chicken masala and it tasted delicious. We have naans and curries left and they packed the food for us. Later we got our kulfi it is yummy (go for it). At the end , the waiter who argued with us started talking about his opinion on chilli chicken dish and we shared our views. It ended up friendly conversation.

Dear waiters, be friendlier to the guests - we will finally pay your wages. Just going to the restaurant for good food doesn't work, I want to feel good too. Food is always very good.

Low quality food and very arrogant staff because they were not attentive even after we called them. Service was worst. We were asked if were are finished the dinner. This is not polite way and were just sitting there for about 30 min.

If I could a negative star, I probably would. We ordered samosas, panner butter masala and mango lassi and some other things(I don’t remember exactly what) PBM was ok but the samosa was just stuffed with a lot of potato and had no taste. There was food left over and we requested them to pack it for us and he said “ you ordered little food and now you want to pack? We have nothing to pack it in. Next time get your own box”. And then proceeded to pack food for other guests. The staff were outrageously rude and had no manners(also slightly racist). Food was below par. So maybe if you want to order food above certain limit, they respect you, otherwise not. I have been to other Indian restaurants, ordered just few items, ate more than half, and they still packed it for us when we asked them to. I do not like wasting food and he told me “instead of packing, I would rather throw it away”. Very very rude and never again will I go there or suggest anyone to do so.

Not good balance of salt and the food was spicy. Non-authentic Indian food and portions were smaller. Salad was not prepared or washed well. Tikka and paneer dishes were okay used almost same taste. Staff was rude.

Quite a big restaurant serving wide scale of vegetarian and meaty meals. During lunchtime is offered lunch menu with soup or salad, otherwise they offer meals even quite late evening. I so far had not unlucky hand while making a choice from the menu,when it comes to taste and preparation. The crew does not seem super friendly, no smiling all the time,but they are very fast and observing and never happened that I were waving ten minutes being ignored.

The only criticism was the ambience, but understandable since the restaurant was empty at the time. Great, we will be back 5/5 As always delicious! Staff is very friendly and courteous. The food is very quick at the table and tastes super delicious! We always like to come here, whether here in Garching or in Hallbergmoos! There is a small minus point, however. The toilets are in the basement and can only be reached by stairs, so unfortunately inaccessible in a wheelchair.

Food is good but pricey as like the other indian restaurants.

One of the best Indian restaurants close to Munich. I would strongly suggest their delicious Tandori specialties!

The food was good. The portions were more than enough for one person. I think the employees were polite, but they were not interseted to invite with a smile.

We went there on weekend.at the beginning they bring you some souces with bread which is nice,but the amount of bread is very little .you cant take much of the souces because there are not much bread left. I have ordered some chicken tandori with lam Biryani.Insde the Chicken Tandori was raw.I have asked them to cook it more.They took my dish and bring the chiken tandori back quickly .It was very watery and oily and still was not cooked properly.The price is also quite high compare to other indian resturant.Also inside the resturant was lots of flies.I dont know what was the cause of it.I personally dont go there anymore.or if I go I oder some vegetarian dish because they can not cook chicken properly.

This might be a surprise coming from an Indian. The service of this restaurant is not nice at all.. the waiters were rude and arrogant. Boss, if there is an Indian coming to eat, at least show some warmth and not differentiate between how you treat other European customers. You guys are serving Indian food there so at least show some respect. Giving 3 stars anyways because the food was very good. No complaints there.

Brit on business alone as usual #britOnBusiness.... So bad so bad. Avoid. Service was terrible, food was Luke warm and below par on any standard. Sorry.

We often passed by and wondered if this restaurant is worth a try. It definitely is! The dishes ate big and yiu can order plenty of different nans.

Wonderful! Definitely my go-to (non-Bavarian) restaurant in Garching! A great selection of super tasty dishes! Their butter chicken is superb, and so is some of the more spicy options. Also try the special Tandoori choices. Super friendly staff, and always a lot of waiters available. Outdoor seating available. Always a free starting snack included.

Good food. Extremely direct, bordering rude or impatient personnel.

Really friendly knowledgeable staff. The food was well executed and arrived so that no-one had to wait for others to receive thier orders. Having the choice of outdoor seating and literally being above Garching U-Bahn Station makes this Indian Restaurant easy access both to those how wish to walk into the heart of Garching or for those that may want to enjoy a drink or two and therefore have no desire to drive.

Good place for Indian food.
